Here at The Wife Hates Sports – we wouldn’t call ourselves movie-predicting masters. But we sure as heck enjoy watching the Academy Awards and making Oscar predictions.
Yeah, this isn’t just a sports site. In this case, the Oscars are a tradition that we watch every year.
Bragging rights are on the line. Certainly, there is the potential for household chores hanging in the balance.

Now that you’ve seen our predictions… what are yours? What was your favorite movie of the year? How about your least favorite flick? Do you participate in pools for the Oscars? Are you like the WIFE, analyzing and critiquing all the wardrobe? Let’s talk movies – comment below!
Enjoy the Oscars and as always… thanks for reading The Wife Hates Sports!
I love me some Tarantino but I’ll admit to being conflicted about seeing the movie.
I saw it. Enjoyed it.
And Waltz was tremendous. I’d put it in your Netflix queue.
‘Rev’–
I’ve heard that about Waltz’s performance – but to be honest – I hadn’t seen the movie yet. Even hearing his performance, I went for the upset there.
However, you should have gone with my picks, man… had a late comeback surge by getting Sandra Bullock and The Hurt Locker correct – winning by one. Woo!
I want to know what the winner gets.
Actually you guys only differ on three categories.
I’ve got to side with Wife on Christopher Waltz. That was one of the best performances I’ve seen in years.
