Trouble getting a date or reeling in THE WIFE of your dreams?

Never fear, Mike Leach is here!

Yes, this is referring to Mike Leach, the quirky, offensive minded, pirate lovin’ head coach of the Washington State Cougars, who this week tackled a question on dating during Pac-12 Media Days.

Leave it to college football guru (and close friend) Lisa Horne, who was more than willing to bait Leach once he hit the podium.

Horne simply asked Leach what dating advice he would give, fully knowing that a gem was soon to follow.  Leach did not disappoint, delivering an answer that few head football coaches could top.

Mike Leach Gives Dating Advice

Fortunately, it made for perfect TWHS fodder.

A few seconds of Leach’s answer was surprisingly serious, mentioning that you should take her somewhere that you both could talk.  As for the rest, he peppered in sturgeon fishing, hunting rattlesnakes and last but not least, a 2-for-1 sandwich excursion (just don’t forget the coupon book).

Leach is right, if a lady got her hands on a fish that big, she certainly wouldn’t forget it.
