Rookie phenom Matt Harvey has got it all: a power arm, nasty stuff, a bright future and the starting nod for the National League in tonight’s 2013 MLB All-Star Game.
On top of that, Harvey recently proved that he also has a fun personality and a good sense of humor.
This much was evident in Harvey’s appearance in a recent bit on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, where the young star for the New York Mets took to the streets to ask New Yorkers about… well, himself.
Matt Harvey asking Mets fans about Matt Harvey, and as you can imagine, there were plenty of amusing responses and surprised reactions amongst the chosen few that made the final cut.
There were also some classic moments, including one guy who was quite descriptive about Harvey’s nude appearance in the 2013 ESPN Body Issue. Another energetically pointed out the Harvey jersey that he was wearing at the time. Although, he had no idea who he was speaking to.
It isn’t surprising that fans didn’t recognize the rookie. Although, these locals should be ashamed of themselves. It isn’t like the guy wears a football helmet or a hockey mask when he’s playing.
Chalk it up as another gem by Fallon and his writers, but enough about the bit, see it for yourself.

And what do you believe will come out of it all ? Arbitration is baseball nowadays is simply a ways to a means, and that is it . It doesn`t really serve a purpose at all , given the idiocy that baseball operates under from a financial standpoint .
Do you believe that the Nationals will be able to retain Stephen Strasburg when he becomes a free agent ?
TOP–
That will be some time, because there’s all that eligibility and arbitration beforehand…
You never know, they were able to keep Wright and sign him long-term.
