Jimmie Johnson won for the third time in four races, taking the checkered flag at the Quicken Loans 400.  The victory was Johnson’s first ever at Michigan International Speedway.  But even with the recent hot streak and barrage of victories, Johnson remains behind Jeff Gordon in the latest edition of NASCAR Power Rankings at The Wife Hates Sports.

Gordon, who finished in 6th place at Michigan, continues to hold onto the top spot (by six-plus ratings points).  Johnson lands in second, followed by Brad Keselowski in third place.  Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Kevin Harvick round out this week’s top five.

The aforementioned Harvick was the runner-up at Michigan and is also this week’s biggest mover, climbing two spots and into the top five.

Brian Vickers was the biggest loser, falling four spots to 15th.
