Brad Keselowski’s not leading the NASCAR Power Rankings, but he certainly may be a contender for the rankings lead before the season is through. Keselowski has five top five and eight top ten finishes in the last nine races to propel him to third in the rankings.
Ahead of Keselowski are Jimmie Johnson and Greg Biffle, while Martin Truex Jr. and Matt Kenseth round out the top five.
Sam Hornish Jr. climbs four spots and is this week’s biggest mover. Denny Hamlin, Martin Treux Jr. and Kyle Busch also had strong weeks at Atlanta.
Clint Bowyer falls three spots and is this week’s biggest loser. Kasey Kahne and Juan Pablo Montoya also dropped back three slots in the latest rankings.

The Wife Hates Sports has vowed to get more involved with NASCAR, and that’s why I am proud to introduce Bill Schneider, who will present his NASCAR power ratings on a weekly basis. I know you will see his ratings system as unique and different than the rest. He also infuses stats and involves recent results during the NASCAR season. – Kevin Paul
