Matt Kenseth regains the NASCAR Power Rankings after his fifth consecutive top ten finish.  Kenseth’s lead in the rankings is 2 1/2 points.  Jimmie Johnson lands in second, followed by Greg Biffle in third and Dale Earnhardt Jr. in fourth.  Denny Hamlin rounds out the top five for consecutive weeks.

Kevin Harvick is this week’s biggest mover, jumping two spots in the rankings.  Clint Bowyer, Jamie McMurray and Matt Kenseth also had solid weeks at Pocono.

On the flip side, Aric Almirola earns this week’s biggest loser “award”, falling three spots and outside of the top twenty.  Martin Truex Jr., Kasey Kahne and Jimmie Johnson also had difficult runs last week.

The Wife Hates Sports has vowed to get more involved with NASCAR, and that’s why I am proud to introduce Bill Schneider, who will present his NASCAR power ratings on a weekly basis.  I know you will see his ratings system as unique and different than the rest.  He also infuses stats and involves recent results during the NASCAR season. – Kevin Paul
