Greg Biffle’s top five finish at Kansas allows him to hold his NASCAR Power Rankings lead.  Jimmie Johnson remains in second place this week, followed by Martin Truex Jr. in third and Matt Kenseth in fourth.  Dale Earnhardt Jr. round out this week’s top five.

Race winner Denny Hamlin climbs up to sixth.

Kasey Kahne is this week’s biggest mover after his top ten finish.  He makes a massive jump of six spots and cracks the top 15.  Martin Truex Jr., Brad Keselowski and Carl Edwards each also had strong performances at Kansas.

Clint Bowyer falls four spots and is this week’s biggest loser.  A.J. Allmendinger, Paul Menard and Matt Kenseth all had difficult weeks and also lose ground to the field.

The Wife Hates Sports has vowed to get more involved with NASCAR, and that’s why I am proud to introduce Bill Schneider, who will present his NASCAR power ratings on a weekly basis.  I know you will see his ratings system as unique and different than the rest.  He also infuses stats and involves recent results during the NASCAR season. – Kevin Paul
