Greg Biffle maintains a strong NASCAR Power Rankings lead after finishing sixth at California.  That’s Biffle’s fourth top ten of the season.  Kevin Harvick lands behind Biffle in second place, followed by Jimmie Johnson, Tony Stewart and Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Kyle Busch is this week’s biggest mover after finishing second while Tony Stewart moves up five spots following his win.  Kasey Kahne and Denny Hamlin also had strong weeks.

Meanwhile, Jeff Burton is the biggest loser, falling four spots in the latest rankings.  Matt Kenseth, Martin Truex Jr. and Joey Logano each also lost four spots in the latest poll.  Both Kenseth and Truex Jr. fall out of the top five in the latest rankings.

The Wife Hates Sports has vowed to get more involved with NASCAR, and that’s why I am proud to introduce Bill Schneider, who will present his NASCAR power ratings on a weekly basis.  I know you will see his ratings system as unique and different than the rest.  He also infuses stats and involves recent results during the NASCAR season. – Kevin Paul
