Carl Edwards maintains a comfortable NASCAR Power Rankings lead going into the season finale at Homestead.  Second place remains up for grabs for those in the top five, which includes Jimmie Johnson, Tony Stewart, Matt Kenseth and Kyle Busch.

Marcos Ambrose is this week’s biggest mover after his top ten finish at Phoenix.  Tony Stewart, Ryan Newman and David Reutimann join Ambrose as the biggest movers of the week.

Meanwhile, Dale Earnhardt Jr. is the biggest loser of the week, dropping two spots to 17th place.  David Ragan, Matt Kenseth and Kyle Busch all also had difficult weeks at Phoenix.  Ragan and Dale Jr. remain in the top 20, but not by much.

The Wife Hates Sports has vowed to get more involved with NASCAR, and that’s why I am proud to introduce Bill Schneider, who will present his NASCAR power ratings on a weekly basis.  I know you will see his ratings system as unique and different than the rest.  He also infuses stats and involves recent results during the NASCAR season. – Kevin Paul
