With another top ten finish, Jeff Gordon remains in the top spot in the latest edition of NASCAR Power Rankings at The Wife Hates Sports.  Jimmie Johnson’s solid performance moves him up to second place, followed by Brad Keselowski in third.  The victorious Earnhardt Jr. returns to the top five, and is in fourth place, while Joey Logano sits in fifth.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. is in the winner’s circle for the second time this season.  It was Junior’s first ever victory at Pocono.  The triumph at the 2014 Pocono 400 seals his first multi-win season since 2004, when he won six times.  The 2004 season had also been his fifth straight multi-win season, while this year marks the first time he’s reached two wins with Hendrick Motorsports..
