Last week’s NASCAR Power Rankings top five – which included Jeff Gordon, Matt Kenseth, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Joey Logano and Brad Keselowski – all faltered in the Aaron’s 499 at Talladega Superspeedway, with Dale Jr.’s 26th place finish being the best amongst the group.

As a result, Jeff Gordon maintained his spot at the top of the latest edition of NASCAR Power Rankings at The Wife Hates Sports.  Matt Kenseth remains in second and Kyle Busch moves up three spots to third place.  Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Joey Logano round out the top five.

Talladega winner Denny Hamlin moves up one spot to ninth place.  Greg Biffle sits just behind Hamlin in tenth place, jumping three spots this week and landing on the biggest movers list.
