Kyle Busch held on to the NASCAR Power Rankings lead for twenty consecutive weeks until Texas.  Because of his one race suspension, Busch drops three places to fourth and is also this week’s biggest loser.

Carl Edwards takes over the rankings lead and is followed by Jimmie Johnson and Matt Kenseth. Race winner Tony Stewart rounds out the top five and is this week’s biggest mover.

Other big movers include Kasey Kahne, Clint Bowyer and Carl Edwards.  Kahne jumps two spots and lands in the top ten this week.

On the other side, Kevin Harvick, Denny Hamlin and Ryan Newman join Kyle Busch on the list of biggest losers from the week at Texas.

The Wife Hates Sports has vowed to get more involved with NASCAR, and that’s why I am proud to introduce Bill Schneider, who will present his NASCAR power ratings on a weekly basis.  I know you will see his ratings system as unique and different than the rest.  He also infuses stats and involves recent results during the NASCAR season. – Kevin Paul
