Kyle Busch maintains the NASCAR Power Rankings lead, but Jimmie Johnson is gaining momentum.  Jeff Gordon moves up to third place following his win in Atlanta.  Carl Edwards sits in fourth and Matt Kenseth is in fifth position.

Brad Keselowski moves up to seventh and is one of the biggest movers for the sixth consecutive week.  A.J. Allmendinger (up four spots) is the biggest mover of the week.  Greg Biffle and Jeff Gordon also had solid weeks.

On the flip side, Marcos Ambrose is the biggest loser of the week, falling four spots to 21st place overall.  Ryan Newman, Joey Logano and Carl Edwards all also had difficult weeks.

The Wife Hates Sports has vowed to get more involved with NASCAR, and that’s why I am proud to introduce Bill Schneider, who will present his NASCAR power ratings on a weekly basis.  I know you will see his ratings system as unique and different than the rest.  He also infuses stats and involves recent results during the NASCAR season. – Kevin Paul
