David Ragan recorded his first career victory at Daytona, making him our biggest mover in this week’s NASCAR Power Rankings.  Kyle Busch expands his ratings lead over Carl Edwards (second place) thanks to a fifth place finish and Edwards’s failure to finish in the top twenty.

After Busch and Edwards, Kevin Harvick sits in third in the latest power rankings.  Kurt Busch and Matt Kenseth round out the top five.

The aforementioned Ragan moves up four spots and into the top twenty.  He is the biggest mover of the week.  Kevin Harvick, Joey Logano and Matt Kenseth are also big movers for the week.

The Wife Hates Sports has vowed to get more involved with NASCAR, and that’s why I am proud to introduce Bill Schneider, who will present his NASCAR power ratings on a weekly basis.  I know you will see his ratings system as unique and different than the rest.  He also infuses stats and involves recent results during the NASCAR season. – Kevin Paul
