Random Final Thoughts
When in doubt, go with the Pixar film. Movies like The Black Swan are quirky and dark, but will often reel in a number of awards. Also, The Social Network is a very powerful film, featuring a story that so many of us are close to. That’s considering the explosion of social media.

The Fighter is one of the movies that I haven’t seen yet, though I really want to. I have heard so many great things about it.
Since we are discussing snubbed nominations, I really think that Christopher Nolan should have gotten a nomination for Best Director in Inception.

Have you seen that and most or all of the other movies? I have heard TKS is the favorite heading into it, but things have changed it seems with the awards over the last few years. It appears that darkhorses can and do win…
If “The King’s Speech” doesn’t win, I might have an outburst worthy of the “Do you stammer when you curse?” scene.
